Who said you have to fly San Francisco to Los Angeles direct and
should not fly via Hawaii?
This presentation covers attack vectors on the computer reservation
systems (CRS) used to book tickets for air travel.
After a short introduction on how fares are loaded and booked in
the global distribution systems (GDS) I'll show how to look for
mistakes in entries and exploit various components involved.
Topics include screenscraping of travel websites and dissection of fare
rules.
The results are cheaper tickets and generally more bang for the buck.
